Tap the person icon (👤) in the top-right corner of the Home screen to open the Parent Dashboard. From there you can update your child's name and switch between age groups (2–3, 3–4, 4–5).
Open the Parent Dashboard (👤 icon on Home), scroll to the bottom, and tap Reset All Progress. This clears all stars, progress, and the child's name. The next time the app opens it will show the welcome screen so you can enter the new child's name.

All 26 letters and all content are available at every age. The age group setting adjusts the number of word pairs shown in the Word Match game:
You can change the age group at any time in the Parent Dashboard without losing any progress.
Yes — PhonicsNest works completely offline. All letters, stories, word games, and tracing are built into the app. No internet connection is needed.
Note: The Say It! speech recognition feature uses Apple's on-device processing and also works offline on supported devices.
No. PhonicsNest is completely free with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads. Everything is unlocked from the moment you download it.
Open the Parent Dashboard (👤 icon on the Home screen). You'll see:
PhonicsNest stores all progress locally on your device for privacy reasons — it is not backed up to the cloud. If the app is deleted, progress is lost. We recommend keeping the app installed and using the Reset button in the Parent Dashboard when handing the device to a new child.
